Disabled Man Crawls Onto Plane…

On June 30, 2017, NY Times reported that a  disabled rights activist, Mr. Kijima, who is partly paralyzed, was told by a Japanese airline, Vanilla Air that he could not board as it lacked wheel-chair accessible boarding ramps or elevators. Mr. Kijima, bound to a wheelchair (he is paralyzed from the waist down due to a rugby accident as a teenager), then crawled one step at a time to be finally seated on the plane.
